Verbs, Verb Tenses and Forms of the “To be” Verb.

In pencil, answer the questions, explain, and write three examples after answering each question:

01 What are verbs?
02 What are verb tenses? How many verb tenses are you familiar with? Name them.
03 How can you use the verbs “to play” and “to read” in the past tense? Based on your answer, what are the similarities and differences between these two verbs? Explain.
04 How do you use the verbs “to play” and “to read” in a sentence, but in the future tense? Explain.
05 How do you ask questions with the verb “to be”? (am, is was, are, were etc.)  Explain the rules.
06 How do you ask questions when “To be” is combined with verbs in the progressive? Explain.
07 How do you use adverbs of frequency when these words accompany the verb “To be”?
08 When is it unnecessary to use the “To Be”?
09 Write three sentences in the affirmative, and three sentences in the negative form. How do you do this with the “to be” verb?
10 After your research, what is your personal response to the topic: Verbs, Verb Tenses and Forms of the “To be” Verb? Write a personal response to “VERBS”.
