Homework #20 Due June 19

Perimeter and Area (review)
The perimeter is the length of the outline of a shape. To find the perimeter of a rectangle or square you have to add the lengths of all the four sides. However, the area is measurement of the surface of a shape (the inside).

Draw a detailed plan of your home and find the perimeter and area of the built up area and individual rooms of your house. Ask your parents to help you (to measure). The picture shows what your drawings must be like.

This is a list of vocabulary items related to home

(find their perimeter and area)

Living room (The room in a house or apartment that is used for relaxing, and entertaining guests, but not usually for eating.)

Bedroom (A room used for sleeping in.)
